Sun is shining, not a breath of wind.
Nothing but tar and pavement stretching out before me.
Air so clean you can smell the blue of the sky;
gotta squint to block the glare off the chrome.
Feel the heat; smell the hot, black leather and exhaust
as I crack her wide open and give her what she needs.
Listen to the rumble and rush where the wheels meet the road.
Nothing but yellow slashes passing on the left.
The feel of raw power between my legs;
I wrap my thighs around the tank as I would a lover.
Laugh out loud as I pass the poor suckers
stuck inside air-conditioned tin cans.
And just cruise on down the open road.
My God, it’s a good day to be alive!
Man, life doesn’t get any better than this!
