Great composition, love the way you are draw right through the carriage to the VP at the back middle of the image. Super work Daniel.
Thank you Gary, I’m glad you liked it. I feel really privileged that i could explore and photograph a piece of Australia’s history.

Very cool shot!! makes you wonder about the people that once travelled in this little beauty? Love the angle of this! :-)
I agree Tania, when I was walking through it and seeing all the marks on the seats where people sat and whatnot, I got to thinking how something as historical as this would end up going to absolute rack and ruin in a paddock somewhere. And the thing that intrigued me the most was the fact that all the signs and stuff that people would have read every day now sit there going unheeded.
Thank you for your kind words.
The mind does wander when viewing these “things from time past”. Like the way you have handled this one too. It was probably grand travel in its time. Another piece of our history disappearing into the who knows where.
Thanks for the feedback Dusker. I agree, I get very sentimental when I look at these types of things in this sort of state. Not far from where I live is a pair of English Electric Canberra Bomber jets, sitting in a Paddock rotting and rusting away. Did some research and found out that they were one of the key instruments in many campaigns in Vietnam – what a send off. Very sad.
Hey Daniel would live to know whwere that paddock is, that would make a really good shoot!! do tell :-)
This is just off the main road going through Glenreagh….I’ll try to find the name of the road, but it’s pretty easy to find
kinda cool, great perspective & mood.
Outstanding work from the composition to the subject. Truly excellent.
Thank you Michael, much appreciated.
