Great details and timing Peter, is it a song thrush? I can never suss the difference out between them and mistle thrushes!
Thank you kindly Shaun, I think it is a Song Thrush although I also find it hard to tell the difference
I have just been doing some checking and there seems to be three differences; the call, the size (mistle thrushes are a lot larger) and finally mistle thrushes have round’ish markings on their chest, song thrushes have arrow shaped markings….I suspect this is a song thrush….you learn something new every day!
