this is a view looking south over the river Almond valley about ten miles to the west of Perth it is a beautiful area. Its hilly but not mountainous and very sunny..often though mist lingers over the hills and everything is toned down until the sun breaks through. Watercolour on cold pressed paper. its not recent probably painted around 1998..

    Very atmospheric – you captured the mist perfectly!

  • thanks Marsha, now atmosheric effects – thats one of the things I love about watercolour because really its just rain with pigment added hitting a piece of paper
