Smal town traffic
Narrow streets big trucks
Tuam. Ireland
These are a few pictures in one. Just put the tripod down and waited about 15 minutes while snapping
iso was 64
I had the camera on A and I think it was f 6.4.
So the shutter time I don’t know. Didn’t look.
I had to fade the truck out a bit in photoshop and ran the whole thing trough photomatix afterwards. I ended with a noise filter.
oh yeah. I have a fujifilm s 5700 which is a hybrid camera. Still pretty o.k though

Great narrative, and I really like how this has come out with the truck being almost see through to a degree yet still being visible as a moving truck.
Excellent idea and post work have brought it out well.

Nice capture Peter – its a great shame that these narrow streets have to suffer these big trucks.

Nice shot – love all the various shapes and colours, it almost has an abstract effect

Graphic shapes, bright colors + motion are always an eye catching combo for me. Into the Faves it goes!

that looks great! for one, the motion blur is fantastic. but what i really like is the detail of having the some color on the raincoat and the yellow line in the motion!

Actually I was kind of lucky with that. When I shot the man he was just walking there. The truck drove by a few minutes later, so its pure luck that the head is just there where the white line ends. I didn’t blur it, but had the camera on a longer shuttertime then the man. Brought them together and ran it trough photomatix. Thanks for stopping by.
i also don’t comment to much, since I also have a real job, that consumes a good chunk of my time, sadly.

If men is 5, if men is, if men is 5
Then the devil is 6 and the devil is 6 and the devil is 6 and the devil is 6
And if the devil is 6 then God is 7

So fortunate to have the man walk across the street just as the blue truck passed by. Colour-wise too.
peter hoenderdos in reply to AdamsWife’s comment, 3 months ago
no they weren’t there at the same time.
