Reach
The Anzac Bridge at Pyrmont, in Sydney. Before today I had shot it at various times of day, in colour, black & white, and infra-red, with 4 different cameras over a period of time, including an infra-red converted EOS 10D, and a myriad of lenses, including an EF 15mm Fisheye, a Sigma 10-20mm, an EF 70-300mm DO IS, an EF 24-70mm, and a Sigma 50mm. I can’t get enough of this bridge, and drive over it twice a day! Oh yes, I’ve shot from inside a car too!
Today I shot it at lunchtime with a handheld Canon EOS 5D Mark II and a brand spanking new Lensbaby Muse, which is the new version of the original Lensbaby. I chose the Muse over the Composer, which has a focusing ring, as I’m a manual sort of guy and with my first exposure (ouch) to a Lensbaby, I enjoyed the control over the focus point using the fingers. I also tried to shoot to the bridge with a Super Wide Angle (x42) attachment, but those shots are too freaky, even for me to upload.
I left an f4 aperture ring in the lens for this shot, and used ISO 50 at 1/400th of a second. After converting the single RAW file, there was no processing done.
