thanks dana. I must say I have been rather amazed at the reaction to this image. I went there to shoot the bridge and its lines and shapes, and this shot was a spur of the moment decision to walk in front of the lens and stand under the lamp before the shutter opened.

You know Peter when I was looking at this shot I thought (based on your comments) that this is a place you are familiar with and aware of how the spot looks, day and night with it’s trees and plants or whatever! However to the viewer of this portraite there is a mystery in what is unseen and unkown that intreges. Maybe that is why you are suprised at the reation! Just a thought.
