Urban Lines Project - The Art Of Urban Symmetry

In the New Urban Environment of large acreage high development, every centimetre is a controlled surface, with the objective of symmetry and perfection. The eye is not allowed to see the slightest hint of natural anarchy, but nevertheless detects a total absence of connection with what lies beneath and beyond. And we keep it clean. And guarded. While shooting the building where these steps and stairs reside, from the footpath, I was approached by 2 security guards employed by the Jacksons Landing Community Association and asked what I was doing. Rather pointless really, given the large number of cameras which have filmed me while shooting my Urban Lines Project. They only had to watch their screens:

Shot in RAW using a Canon EOS 10D and 28-90mm zoom lens at 70mm, ISO 100, f8, 1/125th of a second.
