Fishing Wreck
Fishing Wreck was shot in the morning fog from Dead Horse Bay on the Hawkesbury River, northern Sydney. Croppy Point can be seen in the right distance, Little Wobby Beach cannot.

Sad for the boat owner but a great mood capture !
Peter Hill replied
Agree. thanks Steven
Catherine Davis
Beautiful, love the white overload.
Peter Hill replied
Actually the whiteness is pretty much as is. The shot was just after sunrise, but the whole river was cloaked in fog. It was very eerie and moody and this particular scene quite surreal.

again so much is going on in this shot yet so simple, a feast for the eyes – I’m a sucker for b&w! What settings did you use?
Peter Hill replied
oooh, sorry Lisa for the late reply – I totally missed this. From memory: 70mm (Canon EF 70-300mm DO IS zoom), ISO 100, f5.6, about 1/90th sec, hand held, on shore. Cropped. Shot in colour then desaturated, though that hardly changed anything!
