Located in Delhi, India. This fabulous tomb which is one of Delhi’s most sublime sights dates back to the 16th century.

Lovely muted colours and excellent perspective, Peter!
Thanks Mieke. And very hazy too with the smog!

Not a person is sight, how did you manage that Peter, nice perspective & so deliciously soft !!
Thanks Karen. Well we got there fairly early and well before all the buses. I think the buses go first to the Red Fort so it was pretty empty. Also most people go in the entrance which is on the opposite side so not many around these 2 sides. Softness courtesy of the smog!
Very impressive, you must have been early cos there no rubbish in sight.
Thanks Fred. Yes early.
Hello Peter. This is a very interesting viewing angle on Humayan’s Tomb – which I still rate as one of the best of the historic buildings which I have visited in India /Asia.. Thanks for posting it.
Hi John, thanks. It is a wonderful building mind you some of the forts in Rajasthan are pretty impressive too and of course there is the Taj Mahal which takes a lot of beating :-)
Superb capture of this majestic beautiful Humayun’s tomb. Fabulous composition and angle!
