Two women carrying a very heavy load of hay up a steep hill outside Pokhara in Nepal. These loads are so heavy that I can’t lift them but they manage without any trouble at all and can carry loads like this for kilometres.

Well done on the photograph. Well done is also the tenacity of these people. This kind of effort, and it is found in many countries, is always an inspiration to me as well as a prime photo op.
Thanks for the comment Robert. It is inspirational to see the tenacity of these people. It’s the women who usually do all the carrying of heavy loads although some men do it too. Could be that the men are working in other areas so they don’t have as much opportuinity.

What a wonderful capture, and what a weight those bundles must be. Amazing what the human body can do when it needs to and the determination of people. Love this as it shows how we all differ around the world and how we life.
