WOW GOLD MEDAL

I just saw the web results of the 56th Singapore International Photo competition. This is one of the really hard ones and I GOT THE GOLD MEDAL in photo travel!!! I guess i might have a few problems getting to sleep tonight I’m so thrilled!!!

You deserved it. A platinum medal infact. A briiiiiiiilliant image. Don’t bother sleeping. Drink alcohol or eat chocolate. You lucky but deserving person you!

Thanks Lightsmith. This image also won the photo travel section of the APS national last year and has been printed in the Austrian SuperCircuit catalogue this year and the Al-Thani international catalogue for last year. It bombed out in my local club competition and didn’t even get a place.

Something like that I think. My images of snowgums in the Victorian Alps have also got nowhere in Australia but got into the Austrian and Al-Thani catalogues.
