Near the Villavicencio Hotel (abandonded, closed down, but so wonderful!) there’s a little chapel. The light played a wonderful game with the entrance. Just to let you know: the entrance of the chapel is at the left side, between the arches.
This is beautiful Peter, love the peeling paint, and the lighting is so perfect..great depth also.
You’ve seen the details of the peeling paint. Agree with your observations. Still like this shot, eventhough it won’t be my best ever…
Thank you, thank you! =)
I love the texture… you can almost feel the peeling paint when you reach the screen!!! love it!
Thank you so much! And thanks for the favs, too :-)
On reading you comment, I had another chance to look back at the picture and think about the beautiful surroundings in Villavicencio. What an amazing place it is… Thanks!
A lovely composition – really catches the eye!
The light was so wonderful that day. And especially around that chapel. Thanks again!
Thank you, Karen!
Nicely framed and well exposed bet that was tough white shadows window…
I can’t really remember, but I think I took a couple of pictures with different exposure to be sure one of them would match both reality and expectations.
