We’re still at the Koppelpoort in Amersfoort (the Netherlands)…
Post-production: selective colouring (obviously), upped the contrast and applied the ‘Burn’ tool in PS CS3. Like this better then the original. The walls were a bit too bright.
Oh, very well spotted Peter! Excellent idea to do the SC. Great treatment over all!
Thank you so much! Uploaded this yesterday evening. With a morning coffee I see it has been watched more than 30 times already (that’s a lot for just a few hours, I think).
Great shot and PP! Could be a mirror illusion if it weren’t for the little rectangle at lower left. Great composition!
Yes, the littel grate over there… I noticed it. But couldn’t bother polishing it out of the picture. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Nothing wrong with a bit of post ! I think this a great shot peter.h.
I’m so pleased, h.! Thanks!
I have always loved the selective colouring with that pop of red. Just something so special about it. This is perfect … I love it. One of those instances that you almost think that it is waiting just for you to take its picture!!
Thought so too… But the friend who was with me didn’t. So it’s still a matter of personal preference :-).
Really catches and holds the eye. Excellent result.
Thank you, thank you! :-)
Instant fave, this is Perfect!! I love the selective coloring.
Thank you Kim for your support and fave :-)
I love this very much! The selective coloring is perfect. At first glance, I spotted two eyes and a very loooong nose.
Cool! That’s an interesting association… didn’t see that up untill now. Thanks!
There is something very human-facial in this. Great work
Thank you, David! And thanks for the fave :-)
Interesting work! Stunning!
Thank you so much, Jens!
Red is the perfect colour for SC. Usually it’s done with lips or roses but this is much more imaginative and original.
These are the eyelashes, if I’m right (see Ebbers comment). Thanks for the comment, Cedric! Much appreciated.
