The last one in a series of three. Hope you enjoyed my visual perspective on public transportation.
subway, station, kopenhagen
wow great perspective, it makes me dizzy, in a good way, have you ever considered using HDR on these type of shots?
Would love to do more with the digital postprocessing possibilities. Dind´t have a tripod at the time of the shot, so even if I knew how, I couldn´t make the series I need for a HDR. But it´s worth the try some other time… thanks for your early comment (I´m new on this site). Peter
Amazing shot! you have captured the light , shapes and shadows perfectly
The strong symmetry is awesome! I read on your page, you shoot digital with a Sony? When you shot this in RAW Format, you can try and make a HDR out of the single RAW: They usually got 12-14bit of color depth, which is easily enough to get at least a couple of over/unerexposed images around +/-1 EV or even +/-1,5 EV. Then, with all three images, try your shot at HDRing ’em :)
Thank you! A friend of mine said this shot is way to busy. The eye isn’t led to one subject. I like the symmetry, lines and different levels.
Your friend is right, this shot is busy. But it also is a good replica of the way you feel in a subway: neither know where to look nor where to go. I like the effect :)
A very clever shot, it throws your sense of spacial position completely, am I high, low, looking up/down. Excellent piece of work.h.
It depicts the many levels in the subway station in a special way. Happy to read your comment. Made me look at this piece of work another time.
Wonderful placement of lines and angles make a great image.
You’re bringing back memories of three different holidays thanks to the comments you made. Thanks!
eye candy Peter!
It is… Wish I would have had my Sigma 10-20 at the time…
