RedBubble enthusiasts,

Like many other RedBubble users, I’m an amateur photographer. My first picture date back from 1986, when I was about 8 years of age. My mother owned a Vivitar compact camera back then. I used it a lot and had lots of fun with even. Even if there wasn’t any film in the camera… which was bad luck on a holday in Greece ;-).

My grandfather was the one in our family who was taking beautiful pictures. Especially his macrowork was wonderful! He really opened my eyes. Sadly, when he closed his eyes forever, I lost my first photocritic (and more). I got to work with his camera, a Minolta Dynax 5000. Felt like he could take a peek over my shoulder when working with it.

About three years ago, I switched from film to digita. Konica Minolta (now Sony) it would be. Without a doubt. Just wanted to work with the equipment I already had available. So I now have a D5D with some lenses (Sigma 10-20mm, Sony 18-70mm kit, Sony 18-250mm, Minolta 50 mm Macro), a tripod and a backpack to carry al this stuff with me.
