Barwon Heads Pier by

This is the Barwon Heads Pier … which as piers go is pretty boring. So I was searching for an angle that would make things a bit more interesting and this is what I came up with.

Image taken at dawn on 11 Jan 10 (later that day the temperature touched 44 degrees).

I like the perspective and the texture of the pier.

  • I often like to look underneath things … you find the most interesting things there.

Very nicely ‘disected’, & very well thought out use of the geometry found in this scene.

Beautiful contrast and textures! You certainly did achieve interest here in what could have been boring.

Nice spot around there, Peter. Like how my eye is drawn to the person in the distance. Good pub there, too.

nice angle, i like the figure too, and you can tell by the sky it was going to be a hot one, as it was down this way :)
