Oil paint on wood, mixed media and found objects.
On a large bit of chip board, rotted fence panels, an old tool box with a decaying apple. It’s also paved with different sized panels underneath the image.

Peter’s paintings could be described as surreal, symbolism, expressionistic or even fantasy.

Landscapes of the mind that are populated with symbols, animals and characters and who play a part in telling a story.

He has composed and recorded music that he describes as “earscapes” that accompany his chronic ear themed paintings.

I really like the mixed media elements in this and the contrast in textures.

  • Thanks heaps, I only have the photo of this piece as the artwork was stolen years ago. Need to horde more and build another version ;)

They obviously had no souls. Cannot do that sort of thing to a person who paints so well, I hope they feel sick for having it.

  • The person who didn’t pay for it was an artist. If they still are, may their brushes turn brittle and their paint tubes leak :)
