With Autumn well and truely here (and Halloween just around the corner!) these guys are everywhere. Everytime I go out into the garden I have to be careful not to walk into one of their webs, which seem to spring up in a new place every day.

This shot was taken through the side window of our kitchen, where this spider has decided to make its home on the other side. I’m not the biggest fan of spiders, but when you get up close with a macro lens they really are incredible… especially when you have the safety of a window between you!

  • Thank you Colleen. I’m not a big spider fan myself, but up close these guys are amazing… just as long as they don’t touch me!
