Day 359 of my ‘A Photo A Day’ project.

Where has our summer gone! It’s already July and we still haven’t had much nice weather… in fact, all we’ve had is wind and rain! I guess it’s not all bad though, as if it hadn’t been wet on the ground this evening I wouldn’t have found this little guy. I stole him from a leaf in our front garden and took him to our back garden so I could photograph him on a handrail. Even though he wasn’t overly fast, he kept moving so much that the shot was out of focus… I had to adjust my settings so I could capture him with a faster shutterspeed before he zoomed off again! I’m sure he’d had enough of me picking him up and repositioning him though, so when I got this shot I let him go on his way!

I’ve tried snails and found they weren’t all that easy to get a good shot either. Love this POV

  • Thank you very much! I took quite a few shots and luckily managed to get this one!

nice shot- really like the DOF on this one- with just the suggestion of a shell in the out of focus background- well done

  • Thank you so much! and thank you for taking the time to stop and comment too :)
