Day 347 of my ‘A Photo A Day’ project.
I’ve taken several photos of this spoon over the past few months but they’ve always been a backup shot incase I wasn’t happy with my other photos for the day. When I’ve attempted to photograph this spoon before it’s always been right at the end of the day, holding it in one hand and the camera in the other. Whilst the shots I’ve taken look alright, the sharpness of them just isn’t good enough due to the low light and my setup. This evening I decided that I’d approach the spoon shot using a tripod so I could get the exact photo I was after. I had to tape the spoon handle to a case I keep my photography gear in, then place it on my desk to get the height and angle I was after… another strange method for capturing a photo! I then set my camera up on my tripod with the lowest ISO and snapped away!
