Day 338 of my ‘A Photo A Day’ project.
This is the same group of irises from Day 8 and Day 63, although this time much, much closer! A friend inspired me to take some waterdroplet shots after he got his new macro lens, and with all the rain we’ve been having (yet again!), it was the perfect opportunity to go on a hunt for some. After work tonight and in between rain showers, I went outside to see what I could find. The annoying thing about these iris leaves is that even though water rests on them perfectly, they are very long and bob up and down in the slightest of winds. Luckily I found one that was resting on a couple of aquilegia plants… this kept it completely still and allowed me to take my shots without any blurring.
