Day 327 of my ‘A Photo A Day’ project.
I love taking photos of dandelion seed heads, which you might have noticed! Today whilst I was on my lunch break, I noticed how this very tall dandelion seed head was growing out of a pot in our garden. The seed head itself was still in perfect condition, so I couldn’t miss it for a photo opportunity! I thought it would be a great idea to shoot it directly from underneath, getting the depth of the stalk and a different perspective. Even though this shot looks like it’s from side on, it’s actually straight up towards the sky… the grey cloud cover giving a perfect background to isolate the dandelion on. When I look at this photo the blurred stalk and the lines from the seeds make me think of a firework shooting up into the sky and exploding!
