Day 306 of my ‘A Photo A Day’ project.
This is the same brickwall from Day 259, although this time taken from outside, rather than our landing window. There are 2 different starling nests (or possibly more) in the corner of our next door neighbours house, which means there are always lots of starlings around! Today when I came home from work I went outside in the sunshine (at last!) and had a look round the front garden. I decided to venture round the side of the house and attempt to photograph the starlings going to and from their nests. When one of the adult birds lands on the edge of the nest, you can see the fledgling just inside taking the food from its parent… amazing! Just before taking some shots of the feeding birds, I caught this one taking flight from its perch on the rooftip. Definitely one of those ‘right place, right time’ shots!
