This shot was taken in 2009 in the Shimba Hills in Kenya, Africa. It shows an encounter I had with a young elephant whilst on safari. After stopping to view him from the roadside I watched as he shook his head, fanned his ears and started to walk toward us. At this point I alerted the driver, who shrugged his shoulders and told us that it was fine. He finished his mobile phone conversation, started the engine and we were on our way. This is the only time I have been concerned on safari in Africa, although I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Other images in this series are my shots Warning 2 and Grace.
