Badgers are hard to photograph. They don’t sit still, they keep they’re heads down and the black and white plays havoc with your exposure. This one played ball eventually. This was taken in captivity in Surrey, UK. 1/7/10

Good capture Peter. I’m hoping to see some of these fellows soon as I am moving to the ‘Badger’ state of Wisconsin next month. Nasty little creatures…
Cheer Gary, good luck with that. I can assure you that the English badger us a gentleman…

OH My – now I am just plain jealous :) I have been trying to just catch even a sighting of the badger, and there you go, capturing a perfect shot of one. Well done, this is gorgeous.
They are hard to capture as they usually have thier heads down and the black and white is tricky to expose. I wont lie, this was actually at a wildlife centre, so dont be too jealous, although I did see a wild one in my street one night….
