    this is a beautiful picture, such a terrible time it was even from this distance. I can still remember where I was when the news broke in England. These events like all great catastrophes should be kept alive in the consciousness for all to remember & learn from.

    I was a NYPD officer on Sept 11,2001 and I thank you for recording such incredible images even though I know it is hard to do. I am reminded of that horrific day every time I look at the now barren landscape but still I can’t stop looking! Especially when the image is this beautiful! Thank you Peter
