Acropolis

Athens… Acropolis HDR. The shot was taken in the late afternoon on what had been a hot and rather grey day. Just as I got to the top the skies cleared slightly.

I took three exposures with my Pentax k20 handheld with a polariising filter to catch the blue sky. The processing was done with Photomatix pro mainly to bring the sky and foreground into equal clarity. The image saturation was increased in Photoshop to bring the glow of the stonework out and to emphasise the blue sky
