Artist's Description

this is a whale vertebrae that my husband and I found on a romantic weekend away!It was from the most putrid (thing that was once)a whale carcass I have ever come across! We took the bone home thinking we could boil it and it would be fine but the moment it started to heat up the stench spred throughout the entire house.I ended up racing the thing, pot and all outside and there it stayed(forgotten)until we had to move house.I thought I would take the lid off and it would still be hideous but nature is a wonderful thing and all the little micro organisms had done their job and there was no smell anymore. Now it’s just a cool thibg to look at so I though I’d share.
