This is for the Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge called
The Holiday Cat
I took so many photos… it was very difficult to choose one.
My boy loves the camera and is very photogenic and comfortable with his ‘fame and model looks!’

Glad you like my photo shoot!
Happy Holiday Season to all!

Our two pussycat boys say please will Santa “Claws” chocky bring them lots of toys to play with because they are bored with fighting each other. They are called Mitch and Mao. Mitch is training to be an electronics expert. So far he has managed to disable my computer by pulling the plug out of the back and yesterday he disabled the TV by the same method. He pulls the mouse and speakers onto the floor when he can and knocks ornaments over. he’s only six months old and very clumsy … but oh so loveable. Mao is two and a half and much more sophisticated. is technique was to sit in front of the monitor so I couldn’t see the screen. His latest game is to climb ont our bed and my wife and I have to put up with him walking over our heads until we open the door to let him into the garden … usually at about five in the morning.
I think our two would like Chocky :)

Dave,
I have very much enjoyed your account here.
Your boys sound like fun to have in the household.
I know all about this fighting and wanting to assert their ‘male dominance’... your boys Mitch (2.5yrs) & Mao (6 months) are just doing this…
Chocky (2 yrs) is constantly trying out my older boy Buffy (16 yrs)...and poor Buff just wants to spend the few days that remain to him in peace and quiet…
You have made me laugh at their antics … typical!
But i wouldn’t want it any other way!

Sorry about all those typos … disgraceful.

What a jaunty angle to wear a cap…my cat wouldn’t sit still long enough for one shot let alone the seven you’ve exhibited here…is that a coffee cup I see in the background? Not good for cats…coffee…Nice shots Perugina…
PERUGINA replied
Thank you again Rory, you are so generous with your time and feedback, much appreciated.
I don’t normally upload photographs…i used to… but decided to concentrate on the painting side of things here on RB…having said this i could not resist uploading these shot of my beautiful boy Chocky…and entering the challenge…
He is a blessing to have and is my constant companion here at home while i paint, do housework and whatever else… I am convinced my other Burmese Coco sent him to me as soon as she ‘got to Heaven!’ for he came to me a week later…
Something funny he does…
He can’t stand it when i am on the phone and has taken to ‘headbutting’ my mouth to stop me from speaking to the other person on the other end! LOL

Linda Ridpath’s cat Harry would make a great partner for Chocky’s Christmas delivery service :)
PERUGINA replied
Thanks for that Dave! LOL

what a wonderful cat Chocky is!!!! what would we do without them… hhmmm, clean houses, intact carpets, proper nights sleep, peaceful moments with the computer and in total a pretty boreing life!!!!! x
PERUGINA replied
You forgot the furniture… there isn’t a corner on the lounge that hasn’t been attacked despite having the premium of all scratch posts bought for him! LOL
I still have nothing but love in my heart for him….that is when he is asleep! LOL

this cat and your picture …look JUST alike….the intensity of the eyes…..pretty even….
and he looks like a ’’conservationist’’......and really really sweet for a Siamese…..(and he looks like he talks w/ his eyes too in the photo!
I have had several..I would call him a chocolate sia..yes? 4 me the choc and blue pts(except 1 crazy one I had) arent as moody or ’’edgy’‘as the regular sia…my grand ma had 2 reg. that guarded her room from the edge atop her bedroom door!(and you did not pass…)
thank you on Luci,yes a character…(-;
PERUGINA replied
Thank you for your thoughts on our eyes and their intensity.
Yes Chocky is a Chocolate Burmese, and he was named Chocky by his previous owners who really weren’t coping with his energy and were thinking of having him destroyed. A friend of theirs intervened thankgoodness!
This breed can be demanding, they are however very affectionate, loving and adore being close to humans. Chocky’s circumstances were unfortunate. They first 10months of his life spent isolated in a garage with very little human interaction. He came to us with some behavioural problems… he is now settled with me in his ‘forever home’, took him a while to be trusting and he is an adorable boy very much loved…and he loves me to!

o i just saw they are Burmese….
Steph Granshaw
Oh little poppet!!! LOL!! soooo gorgeous, what breed is he? Love the shot above the last one with the hat nearly covering one eye, so funny, you must spend so much time just stroking and kissing him, what a blessing he is. beautiful. X
PERUGINA replied
Thanks Steph, Chocky is a Burmese and is 2.5yrs…so playful, energetic. I spoil him rotten and even Buffy who is normally a ‘grump’ loves his ‘brother from another mother!’ Tee hee hee
He is a blessing and i thank God and Coco everyday for bringing him to me.
:)X
