Patricia also known as Perugina, has had a love of drawing and painting all her life. Being creative is part of who she is as a person, and this extends itself in all areas of her life.

Based in Sydney and working from her studio at home, she spends her time exploring different mediums, techniques and styles producing works in graphite, oils, acrylics and only recently in watercolour.

FOR THE LOVE OF THE MOUNTAINS
Anyone who knows Perugina will know that she adores
the Blue Mountains of Australia.
Her series of Original Watercolour Works
which are contemporary in style called
Beneath Blue Mountain Gums
depicting the leaves that are responsible for that famous ‘blue haze’ giving the mountains its name is her way of expressing her love for them.

Some of the images you find here are taken from around and about my daily adventures here at home, and in this beautiful city of mine Sydney and its surrounding areas.

Some however, together with musings are simply inspired by what makes me human and fallible, emotions and feelings with all its beauty, imperfections, passion, pain, highs, lows, experiences past and present.

These images along with my artworks are some of the many strands woven together that make up the cloth of my life so far.
Sometimes these strands are knotted, frayed and come undone,
some are like silken threads which glint in the sun.

i am not a writer.. i am not a photographer..
i am simply being me
i do not know how to be another.
