    Lovely sensual , sexual image…!

  • Jaeda DeWalt

    Jaeda DeWalt, 6 months ago

I experience this as the ecstasy of being the vessel for music to travel through, for life force . . .
The sensual, sexual, spiritual and creative all coming together
and exploding into an orgasmic release of musical vibrations.
    The colors electrify.

  • Robert O'Neill

Is she having sex with a violin?

  • Persimmon

Persimmon in reply to Robert O'Neill’s comment, 4 months ago

No! And it’s not a violin…it’s a treble viola da Gamba…one day I’ll get to write a description in at the top!
Interestingly, there was no intention to make this a sexual image. The concept was simply beautiful images of the instrument in context with a figure. If there was any idea other than that it was simply the relaxation after a musical performance….but this is what showed up in the camera after the shoot! It was a surprise to all involved!

  • Robert O'Neill

    Robert O'Neill, 4 months ago

I stand corrected!! But in some ways it seems more erotic than many of the contrived pieces one sees on redbubble. I must just have a dirty mind

  • Persimmon

Persimmon in reply to Robert O'Neill’s comment, 4 months ago

I agree. (not about the dirty mind!) It is a very powerful image and far more erotic than lots of very obvious nude pictures. But apart from the power of the image I am particularly pleased with the colour, the pose and the framing. It is also interesting to see what is lost in the crop for the card. Without that mouth the picture doesn’t quite have the same energy

  • Rachel Leigh

    Rachel Leigh, 4 months ago

It is sexy but I also see the musician who has given her all in a performance and is trying to relax. Her relationship with her instrument is evident in her posture and hold. Very artistic.

  • Persimmon

Persimmon in reply to Rachel Leigh’s comment, 4 months ago

thank you so much for seeing that interpretation…indeed this was one of the ideas

This image has so much latent sexuality, it really is erotically, very powerful.

    I absolutely love this shot.

  • Persimmon

Persimmon in reply to Roy barry’s comment, 4 months ago
