I hope you don’t drop that mandolino, you seem to be floating, nice shot. My dad used to play the mandolin in the N.S.W. bush many years ago.

the mandolino was kept nice and dry! and it was even in tune! and don’t worry, my gumboots were firmly on the bottom of the river! thanks for looking

the brownish frames and offwhite background really make the image come together, in that preview i mean :) i’m sure it looks super printed.

yes you are right, just a bit of a muddy river otherwise. haven’t had this one printed though. thanks for stopping by

btw, have you noticed a color shift on the images, like yours here the bigger image and the framed preview? the smaller usually loses some color i think…

yes very much so. also you will find the colours are different in different browsers. Safari has better colours than Firefox but I use a mac and safari is very annoying (lots of things don’t work properly) It does mean you can’t be sure what the colours will be like. Had Gamba Extasa printed as a card though and the result was pleasing.

Oh yeah, i’m on a mac/safari as well….works rather good for me. but yeah…occasionally annoying things….i just wonder why the color changes on redbubble..these are just previews and made from the same originals…so i dont see why it would change color. maybe some profile issue or something…

maybe have a look in the community forums, someone may have asked about it before. I find that in safari the reply button doesn’t load on redbubble, funny because it is unpredictable and sometimes does work

thanks for your comments. This one was put up after the vertical one from the same shoot to see which was received better. This one is certainly getting some votes now

She’s saying “come here cute little fishy wishy.. (quietly) you won’t feel a thing.. when I hit you with my banjo”

A great series which I have now renamed.. “The bridal guide to fishing with musical instruments”

actually she is clinging desperately to the invisible fishing line left behind by some messy old codger who has nothing better to do with his days but pollute the waterways whilst pretending to fish. She was nearly strangled by the line but in the end it saved her life and her instrument when her gumboot was suddenly caught in a yabby hole and she started to lose her balance.
