I both pencilled and inked this one on the same piece of paper. Usually I tend to trace the pencil over on a good inking paper, or scan, print it over.
But when the sketch was finished I didn’t think twice about it, and just went for my big thick poster marker and did most of it with that. Just touched it up lightly with a edding 0,5 for a little outlining and the odd hatch here and there….
The paper used is Panduro Woodfree A3 (297×420) 70 gram.
Not optimal for inking (bleeds too much), but you can do it if you’re swift…
It is actually a self portrait….used an old picture…well at least 8 years old…..
