Well, this is a most beautiful photograph. Soft, billowy, beautiful. I can almost feel the soft breeze as I look at this image. It’s marvelous

This Cottongrass is amazing stuff – indicative of acidic wet ground, though the tussocks show you the dry footfalls – and places to avoid if you ain’t got wellies. I love its motion on the breeze, and I can almost hear the calls of Curlew and Plover. An additional challenge for you – phot some cranberries, as I know there used to be Red Grouse up there 30 odd years ago. Is this place far from the dam?
