Views of the Orient Beach and PIer circa 2012. The beach had it’s heyday in the late ’60s and ’70s. Crowded with Beach Umbrellas and Deck Chairs hired from the buildings at the top of the beach. The smell of sun-tan lotion had an automatic association with the feel of beach sand on your toes, of ice-cream and of family. They were good times. It is sad to see how the beach amenities have deteriorated yet they conjure up nostalgia regardless. This calendar is aimed at those who may be far away, but who remember fondly, their times at the Orient Beach.
