Covington Cliff

Just a poem I wrote describing a girl I like. We had studied Romanticism in English, so it goes along with that theme.

The golden showers of spring rain crash over
The shimmering cool blue life waters
And fall down on the fine white marble cliff face.
Two brows of soft golden flowers cling to the beautiful white cliff face,
Pink roses line where a mouth could be,
Covering it like the lips of a human,
While the graceful swan like neck,
Slopes downward and begins to climb and descend as hills of wonder.
The bow of the cliff face juts seaward as salty sea spray
Hits it like a drunken sailor fighting.
The majestic marble cliff stands as if inviting one to
Outlast eternity with her as the shore waves soothe the ears,
Worn into two caves amongst the golden flowers.

i think that you repeat certain words a little too often, specifically, cliff. And also when describing colour, you essentially don’t have to be repeated at all due to the enormity of other ways to say the same thing. Just a suggestion, nice job though!
