Profile

At an early age my love of photography developed, my Dad had a SLR which he loved to take photos with, and I would love to play with when I thought no one was looking.
That was until one day a roll of film was developed and in amongst the photos was one of me in my parent’s bedroom sat on their bed playing with Dad’s camera in front of Mum’s dressing table. Who knew that pointing a camera in the direction of a mirror would capture all of what is going on behind the camera – Oops!!

During my early teens I spend time clicking away with a point and shoot film camera, taking the odd creative shot here and there. It wasn’t until I went to College that I was able to study photography and further develop my love of it.

Then in 1997 it came time for me to spread my wings and head south to further my study at the University of Tasmania’s Hobart Art School. My love of photography continues to grow, I am more and more in love with taking photos, looking for the right place, the right time, the right moment to capture. So far this year I have taken more than 1000 photos a month, and have gotten up quite early to take some!
