I love the colors, connections, and depth in this. It’s odd how the merest suggestion of feet makes it seem to stand on the page.
It would make a nice playing card design.
pentangled replied
cheers Douglas, I agree about the feet, you’re absolutely right! I love symmetry, I look at quite a few of my symmetrical abstracts & think Hmmm… playing cards!
Douglas Hill
I realize now it’s not the feet, it’s their relation to what might be knees that make them into feet and give it an anthropomorphic standing/sitting quality.
pentangled replied
interresting… I’m getting elephant feet on wrinkled legs ;o)
(Not literally!)
Douglas Hill
Oh, yeah. I wasn’t picking up on the trunk. Looks angry.
(My daughter and I spend hours looking at patterns together and finding beings and stories.)

then she’s a very lucky girl – I think many people only do this as kids, then they get all bogged down in “adult reality” (what ever that may be, I’ve escaped so far) – she has a fine role-model! :o)
Douglas Hill
She’s off studying art at college now, and I miss her. Thanks for playing!
