I’m an art teacher on the north coast of NSW Australia and have been experimenting with fine point pen for quite a while now. I find the simplicity of pen and grainy paper or roughly primed canvas effective tools to creating texture and tone and very very calming.
I find inspiration in the wonders of nature and shadows and a glass of fine wine, music [The Necks, Radiohead, Bjork etc] good food and great friends always helps to get those creative juices flowing.
