This is hurricane Katrina’s handiwork. This is the bridge that took you into the city of Biloxi MS. which you can see what’s left of it standing in the horizon. We were driving down the road, (I can’t remember what the route number is) and all of a sudden this is what we came upon. No signs warning us the road was gone or nothing, and this was a good 6 months after the hurricane came thru. So much devastation. If anyone has any contributing “news” about this bridge, i.e. name, route number, etc. Please let us know. I don’t even know if they are rebuilding it yet. Taken with a Sony cybershot point and shoot.

Wow, how scary. So much devastation. Great capture of a sad reminder.
Thanks so much. It is a scary thought to be driving along and all of a sudden the road is gone. Yikes.
