Rumblings on the Goldfields (front view) by

This is traffic signal box art number 2 I painted for the City of Ballarat in Ballarat, Victoria Australia. The box depicted the happenings before the Eureka Stockade riots took place on Bakery Hill in Ballarat on 3rd December 1854. On box 1 Irish activist Peter Lalor protests with diggers against the unfair gold licences the government had on gold. Box 2 is Governor Hotham watching on the protesting with his troopers.
