Well here it is folks…I will put up a better quality photo later.
After hours and hours of diligent crosshatching EVERY SINGLE SCALE, I have finished. (albeit a broken woman!)

    Wow Penny, that is amazing!!!! The detail is quality work. Congratulations!! Now rest your hand and eyes!!! LOL My only question is whether the pink background would be better another colour.

    Brilliant work Penny!
    I was special to see how you progressed through from the beginning of the eye.
    It makes it more special knowing how much work had to be put into it.

    You must have worn yourself out doing all that fine detail, but you can take consolation in the fact that long after the pain of creation has been forgotten, that painting will still be giving people pleasure. I suppose it’s like giving birth really, isn’t it.
