I have a birds eye view from my window each morning when day light breaks of this adorable bluetit family: they have chosen to make thier nest in the eves of my window – it is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened; to be able to watch these beautiful birds, fly accross from the holly tree infront of the window, so many times a day, with food and nesting straw for their young chics – today I heard the little ones tweeting for the first time, so they have hatched! It is so amazing to see them so close up and they love looking in through my window too, my sweet cat watches them in close up with me from behind my window pane – they like watching him too & that I believe is why they chose to nest there – they like us as much as we like them – it’s such a wonderful sight at my window each morning and all day round & they wake me & Minxi first thing at dawn, with their sweet tweets & twitters – they are the first thing we see when I open the blinds to their sounds – if I had the time I would just stay and watch every little thing, before they fly the nest and then they’re gone until next spring.
