Had a wonderful oportunity to photograph these barn owl chicks today at Kooyong Farm, Mullewa, WA … they’re so cute and made such funny noises :)
They were in an old field bin and the only way to ‘shoot’ them was to poke the lens through one of 3 rusty holes in the bottom of the bin while standing on the back of the ute :)

Please check out my new blog P3 ~ A year long photo project
P3 is all about THREE – good things come in three’s, three’s company, three wishes – you get my drift :)
My aim is to do three images a week, with some interpretation of three in it, the obvious 3 objects, or something not so obvious, like the photographic threes – the rule of thirds, a three shot pano or even a three shot HDR.

Ohhh this is gorgeous! It looks as if you told them to “squeeze in a bit” to get them all in the frame haha! Where were they?
:) they’re in an old field bin on a friends farm about 40km away. The only way to shoot them was to poke the lens through one of 3 rust holes in the bottom of the bin while standing on the back of the ute :)
Lots of fun :)
