It's As If You See Right Through Me
[Double Exposure Project #1 – Oregon and San Diego Exposed]
This is one of the images produced through double exposing a roll of film with my amazingly talented, generous, and dear friend Matt Adamik. This was our first attempt at working with this process and I am in love with every image.
Matt lives in Oregon and I live in San Diego. He shot the roll first, mailed it to me, and I shot over top his photos. Neither of us knew what the other was shooting. The results are astounding and breathtaking. And fun!
We will be collaborating on many more double exposure projects in the very near future. A wonderful way to bring Oregon and San Diego together, as well as the styles and friendships of two photographers. I am absolutely in love with this type of photography! I highly recommend it for everyone.
Thank you Matt for everything! Goggles Down!

This is pretty damn cool u 2!! Sounds like fun. I’ll have to dig out my film camera and find a roll partner myself. Well done. I saw your calendar and its great.

P.S. – Matt, PS’s sail just missed poking out your eye!!

That a wild technique! Musicians do this by sending digital files to each other and having layers added to create a finished piece. Never EVER thought of this in a photographic manner except with just one person using a digital camera to make multiple exposures needs to see this work post haste. I’m eager to ask a dozen questions (especially about exposure settings) but I’ll save them for discussion in that group.
This is the most unique experiment I’ve seen here in Red Bubble and worthy of some sort of distinct award/kudos. Someone, please toot this horn and LOUDLY!
The end results are indeed stellar and the Experimental group

What an amazing idea, sharing the film blind! This one in particular!! In art school once the instructor noticed 2 students were painting on each other’s canvas, he was so delighted by such creative collaboration, so precocious and precious, I applaud you!!!!!!!!
