For that classic look and feel I present my first iPhone case design. I designed it because I wanted my iPhone to mimic one of my collectible 60’s Range finder cameras from my collection :)

These cameras sold out as fast as the iPhones did when it was first released in 1961 :)

This is Canon’s first intermediate-class, Lens-Shutter 35mm camera. The first prototype looked very orthodox.

The camera had the EE (Electric Eye) feature which was also developed. With shutter speed-priority autoexposure, the camera could take nice pictures. You just had to press the shutter button.

The camera industry went into an uproar upon learning that Canon, maker of high-end cameras, was to introduce a mid-class 35mm camera with a fast f/1.9 lens for less than 20,000 yen. However, the Canonet safely went to market in January 1961. A week’s worth of stock was sold out in only two hours. It was the start of the Canonet boom. Two and a half years later, a million Canonets were sold.

Through this medium of photography I express these visual statements about my place in the city and how this world impinges upon me. Subjects and themes can be anything that express this emotional vision, including landscape, architecture, people or any of the many man made forms that surround us. My style of photographic imagery expresses feelings of awe and humility drawn from his unique landscape.

Heh. Perfect! I think this might be the quintessential iPhone case, Peter.

  • Its definitely one for the Canon buffs :) I had to order a second one since my first didn’t turn up :( Still waiting to see if RB will credit me for this purchase. They are really bad at getting in touch with if you have a problem…. Thanks for the fav :)

Uploaded this (below). It’s a wonderful camera, mine is mint, functional and i still shoot with it. While at a shoot, a model picked it up and took a shot of me with it, so I captured her in the act. Lecia is my go-to camera, but this baby is rugged, esthetically beautiful, easy to use and takes great shots with that lens! enjoy!

  • I have yet to put any film through mine, but its in great condition also and feels so solid in the hands :)
