I have NEVER seen this type of spider! Fabulous photo – congrats on the feature. Where do you live? Is this a US species or from somewhere outside of here? How large is the spider? It looks quite large, but it is a macro shot, so. . .

Hi Paula, i live in Port Macquarie Australia. It has been identified by someone on RB as a Tetragnatha. Asfor the size 3-4 inches including legs. Thanks for the kind words, sorry took so long to reply but have been away with no access to internet. Cheers
