This shot is in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria. I was driving back to Melbourne one Sunday afternoon and saw workers in colourful garb and straw, pointed sun hats working in a green field. It looked like what I can only imagine a rice field in Vietnam would look like.

    yeah it does look a bit like this .. even the odd gum tree in Northern Vietnam … but there is a blanket of smog and usually someone sitting next to you on the super dodgy bus with a basket of chickens smiling at you thinking ‘crazy foreigner!’

    this is a gorgeous shot. I live in the Marsh and have seen them out just about every day and yearned to get a good pic of them. They work for Tripod Farms – who supply the fresh salad mixes to supermarkets. I’ve never seen them in the right light or I’ve been in a rush to somewhere – so, you’ve beaten me to the chop. It’s just beautiful. Well done.
