Lately I have been a bit obsessive about taking photos of wasp, unfortunately they rarely cooperate.
Inspiration
15 Years ago I had a nightmare of bugs coming out of my eyes, and had done a quick concept image of it as seen here.

Photo manipulation
I Manipulated the original wasp image which i took to change the position of the wings and legs then composited it into the image of the eye which came from stock
The editing to the eye was digitally painted in PSCS4 as was the bloody tears.

As an artist I have always had fears of anything happening to my eyes and or hands,
I am sure most people have the same fears, but especially artist.
